Dr Vindy Ghura is a nationally-renowned Dermatologist and Mohs/Dermatological Surgeon in Manchester. He specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Skin Cancer and is one of very few trained Mohs surgeons in the UK giving the highest cure rates for the most common forms of Skin Cancer whilst minimizing the scar allowing for the best repair and reconstruction.
Dr Ghura is honoured to have been elected President of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS), which is the main body for Mohs Surgeons, Skin Cancer Surgeons and Dermatological Surgeons in the UK. Dr Ghura has been Chair of the Regional Specialist Skin Cancer team, leading a panel of Skin Cancer experts writing the guidelines for the management for Skin Cancer. Dr Ghura is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and has been an Examiner for the College.
Dr Ghura has performed thousands of cases of Mohs Surgery and Skin Cancer Surgery over 20 years of clinical practice and is one of the leading Dermatologists in Manchester. He set up and developed the award-winning Mohs surgery unit in Sheffield before moving to Manchester. Dr Ghura is a renowned trainer and international lecturer in his field with a Masters degree in Medical Education.
