Dermal fillers are a popular treatment for restoring plumpness in areas of the face where signs of ageing are most visible; however, dermal filler treatment for the temples is often forgotten. The temples range from the edge of the eyebrows up to the tip of the ears and back to the hairline; they help to give a youthful appearance when they are plump and full.

Temple fillers can significantly impact the overall appearance of the face. By injecting fillers into the temple hollows, the whole face can appear lifted but in a non-surgical way. Additionally, temple fillers can be used to fill in hollow temples that appear with age, reduce wrinkles around the temples, eyes and forehead, increase the skin’s firmness and lift the eyes.

Like other dermal fillers, temple fillers contain hyaluronic acid, which, when injected into the temples, stimulates the production of collagen to support areas which have lost volume or elasticity. By adding volume to these areas, the roundness of the face is restored, which in turn supports other areas of the face, minimising the lines and wrinkles around the cheeks, nose and mouth.

Temple fillers are injected into targeted areas from the edge of the eyebrows up to the tip of the ears and the hairline. During your consultation, our aesthetic doctor will discuss the results you want to achieve and assess your skin to ensure the temple fillers are injected into the most appropriate areas to achieve your desired result. Our experienced doctor will also ensure the results complement your other facial features to achieve a natural-looking enhancement.

Following temple filler treatment, it is advised that you avoid sleeping on or putting any pressure on the temples for a few days after having a temple filler injection. Try not to touch the temples until the swelling has subsided. Your doctor will explain how to care for your injection site – this involves gently washing the temples regularly to avoid infection and not participating in intense exercise for the 48 hours following treatment.

Unlike undergoing surgery for a facelift, temple fillers are temporary, lasting between six months to several years. While some may consider this a downside, this treatment entails much less risk and is a real benefit if you are unsatisfied with the results. Temple filler treatment also allows the filler’s amount or placement to be modified at different appointments to achieve different looks until you are delighted with the results. Temple fillers using hyaluronic acid have several benefits and are a great alternative to surgical methods for the following reasons:

I recently attended Everything Skin Clinic for a mole mapping  examination. It's been my fourth visit dr kreeham and the delightful nurse who  attended suzanne who is very attentive, with warm hands and cream was very gentle with the photo gun , wasn't her first rodeo. I find the whole team at skin clinic very professional  and  reception staff in a clean and comfortable environment. I was extremely happy when i left the overall experience was excellent i been cuming to the clinic over a year now and would highly recommend a visit for peace of mind. i have no concerns at all and look forward to my next. i'm not very good spelling or grammar as i have a few qualifications autism adhd and dislexia. thanks again to all the team.

Thankyou so much to Dr Kreeshan for my treatment. He made me feel at ease and explained the procedure amazingly. I have healed so well and it’s only day two. And also to my wonderful nurse Suzanne.
